PORCELAIN ETCH Hydrofluoric Acid Etchant is a 9.5% hydrofluoric acid etching gel that must be handled with extreme care (See WARNINGS).

PORCELAIN ETCH Hydrofluoric Acid Etchant has been buffered, gel packaged to minimize hazard problems, provided that it is used in accordance with these instructions.

FUNCTION:
PORCELAIN ETCH Hydrofluoric Acid Etchant improves the mechanical bond between porcelain and adhesive/cement by increasing the surface area of the porcelain. The effect is similar to sandblasting but is more controlled and effective.

INDICATIONS:
The principle use of 9.5% Hydrofluoric Acid Etchant is to etch porcelain prior to:
Cementation of porcelain restorations.
Repair of porcelain restorations.

STORAGE:
Store at 4-25°C in a cool and dry place and avoid direct sun exposure. Recap the syringe after use.

DISPOSAL:
After the product is used up, dispose it as normal medical rubbish.
